Guided tours for groups

During the three-storey guided tour, a cultural mediator explains important topics concerning the foundation and early development of the Old Swiss Confederacy in the Middle Ages: Relations between king, church, aristocracy, and peasantry; formation of writing; growth of mobility and trade in the alpine region; the communal associations the people inhabiting the valleys around the Lake of Lucerne established; the significance of the treaties they entered into with the growing towns and the role that the early rural assemblies played.

Duration 60 minutes.

Group size:		max. 25 persons per tour
Cost:		CHF 120.– per guided tour, plus reduced admission per person: CHF 10.– (CHF 12.– from 5 January 2027). Free admission for children and young people up to age 16 (up to age 18 from 5 January 2027).
